5th grade end of end of unit project using Lit Bits. In this STEM activity, 5th graders used scrapes, glue and lit bits to plan, build and make their project moveable. Good Job 5th grade!
The basketball game scheduled at Woodall for today has been moved to next Tuesday (1/26).
People from the Will Rogers museum came to do a presentation for the third graders and tell them about a project that they can do that will be on display at the museum during the month of February.

Attention: Kindergarten and First grade after school tutoring is canceled for Wednesday, January 13th. Unless we are notified, your child will follow their regular after school routine. Second and Third grade WILL have tutoring. If your child will not be attending, please let us know so that transportation changes can be made.

As we continue to navigate through this pandemic, we remind you to please keep your child at home and contact your principal immediately if they have any of the following within the last week: 1. Have been in direct contact with a Covid case 2. Had a positive test within 10 days 3. Are waiting on the results of a COVID test or 4. Are showing any symptoms (Temperature 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher when taken New uncontrolled cough Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, new onset of severe headache, especially with a fever).
Working as partners, we can continue to have school in person if we persist with precautions. Please use the daily screening form. This should be done before your student boards the bus or enters the school building. Students should come prepared with a mask daily, this includes riding the bus to school. Students need to continue to wash hands frequently and watch their social distancing.
Please know we are trying to do everything we can in our mitigation efforts here at school in order to keep our students and staff safe.

Thank you to all the parents, students and teachers who participated in our gift card raffle! A special thank you to the staff and teachers who helped us make extra copies and send them home! We raised almost $1800 for the PTO fund. This money is used to help teachers purchase items and supplies for their classroom and students.
