As we continue to navigate through this pandemic, we remind you to please keep your child at home and contact your principal immediately if they have any of the following within the last week: 1. Have been in direct contact with a Covid case 2. Had a positive test within 10 days 3. Are waiting on the results of a COVID test or 4. Are showing any symptoms (Temperature 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher when taken New uncontrolled cough Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain, new onset of severe headache, especially with a fever).
Working as partners, we can continue to have school in person if we persist with precautions. Please use the daily screening form. This should be done before your student boards the bus or enters the school building. Students should come prepared with a mask daily, this includes riding the bus to school. Students need to continue to wash hands frequently and watch their social distancing.
Please know we are trying to do everything we can in our mitigation efforts here at school in order to keep our students and staff safe.

Tomorrow’s Basketball game against Allen Bowden is canceled.

Thank you to all the parents, students and teachers who participated in our gift card raffle! A special thank you to the staff and teachers who helped us make extra copies and send them home! We raised almost $1800 for the PTO fund. This money is used to help teachers purchase items and supplies for their classroom and students.

Bus #11 is running behind schedule.
Attention: Kindergarten and First grade after school tutoring is canceled for today. Unless we are notified, your child will follow their regular after school routine.
JT Family: Friday is scheduled to be a distance learning day. The blue on our calendar is accidently shaded a little bit different that the other Fridays. I apologize for any confusion.
Bus 11 is stuck at the bottom of a hill it cannot get up. If your child has not been picked up, you can either bring them to school today or call the school to have them picked up. If they need to be picked up, it will likely be after the start of the school day. Thank you for your understanding.
Parents and students: JT PTO Raffle Tickets are due back TOMORROW Wednesday 12/16. Please send all tickets and money back with your student first thing in the morning. If you are virtual please return to either the North or South office. Drawing will be held on Thursday 12/17. Thank you so very much for all your help in this fundraiser!!
Due to impending weather conditions, updated gathering restrictions, and the large number of quarantined students, the JT Christmas concert scheduled for tomorrow night has been cancelled.
We will make every effort to record our Christmas songs after the majority of students return, and have the opportunity to participate, and will post them on social media for everyone to enjoy!
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we all work with every obstacle that comes our way during this time. We are striving to create the best possible experience for every child and want to do our best to not exclude any of our wonderful talent!

JT Parents and Families: After driving some of our route roads, the conditions currently are not good enough to run our bus routes. With the anticipation that the temperature is going to be below freezing when the sun goes down, we have decided to make tomorrow a distance learning day. Teachers will be reaching out to parents or pushing out work to the older students. Although we are having a distance learning day so we do not have to make it up later, we encourage students to also take time to enjoy the snow. Unfortunately, we will not be offering grab and go meals tomorrow. Be safe, and we will see you on Tuesday.
