Claremore Cheer will be hosting a cheer camp for grades 1-6. The camp will be hosted at Will Rogers Jr High from July 18-19 from 5:30-8:00 PM and July 20 from 9:00 AM-12:00. Jocelyn Howell is the first-place winner in the Cassandra Gaines Art Contest! She competed against more than 300 students in Eastern Oklahoma. Her artwork will be used on all promotional materials for the Eastern Oklahoma State Spelling Bee. Congratulations, Jocelyn!

8th grade Parents: Graduation is just around the corner! As we plan for the graduation party, we are asking for bottled water, pop, chips, or a monetary donation to help make it an enjoyable evening for students. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Parents: Tutoring for the ELEMENTARY STUDENTS has ended for the year. There will be no more tutoring for students in grades K-3.

After-school tutoring for South Campus and Junior High has also ended for the year. NO TUTORING for ALL Students for the remainder of the year!

For any incoming freshman going to Claremore High School next year, if you are interested in playing baseball next school year, tryouts will be on May 15 at Legion Field from 5 to 7 p.m. You will need a copy of your grades and a physical to try out.


For graduation, students will receive one rose at no cost to hand out to a family member of their choosing. If you would like more than one rose, you may order extra for $3.00 each. Please call or email Mrs. Reece by Monday, May 6th, if you need any extra. Thank you!

Tomorrow, April 29, at 6 pm, Claremore is hosting a parent/player meeting for football to introduce the coaches and discuss summer workouts and expectations. Any JT 7/8th grade student who wants to play football is encouraged to attend this meeting with their parents. The meeting will be held in the gymnasium, 201 E Stuart Roosa.

Informational meeting at Claremore for any 7/8th grade girl wanting to play softball next year. Tuesday, April 30th 6 pm.


Starting tomorrow (Monday, April 29) 7th and 8th Boys will remain at the North Campus, during last hour athletics, for the remainder of the school year.

6th-8th grade Band and choir kids that went to the contest today will be home around 4:20ish. Please pick up your student at the North Campus.

Because of weather the J-T Band is loading up and heading back from Frontier City. They plan to drive straight back and not stop for dinner. When they get close another alert will be sent on ETA.
