A Christmas tradition that continues in Mrs. Lane’s Kindergarten class is having Mr. Garroutte read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. As usual, Mr. G was full of animation and antics, spreading Christmas joy throughout the classroom.
The Angel Tree Gift Pick-Up will be in front of the elementary school today and tomorrow between 4 and 6 p.m. All items must be picked up within this timeframe on both days. Please call or text (918)346-3377 when you are on your way or here to pick up gifts.
The JT Basketball Ladies are spreading Christmas cheer by contributing to the JT Angel Tree. These fantastic athletes shopped for four angels and helped sort and bag the gifts. We’re so grateful to be able to give back to the community that supports us—wishing everyone a blessed Christmas and a happy New Year!

Lexi Victory and Miley Rogers competed in the Elks Lodge Rogers County Free Throw Competition.
Rogers placed 2nd in her division (age 12-13), and Victory placed 1st in her division (age 10-11), and they advanced to the district round on January 4!

Mrs. Admire’s art class experimented with painting with glow paints. Glow paints create a fun and interactive experience, so artists like to use them!

The JT 5th-6th Wildcats secured another victory against Anderson last night, putting together a strong team effort. The defense was outstanding, particularly in limiting the opposition’s top player to zero points. On offense, Faulconer led the way with nine points, while Grubb and Rackleff each chipped in with four points. Victory and Thompson also contributed, each adding two points. It was a well-rounded performance that kept the team solid on both ends of the court!
The 7th- 8th-grade JT Wildcats faced off against Anderson in a hard-fought game. It was a back-and-forth battle until the end of the third quarter when Anderson’s #3, Bozone, helped them pull ahead with a nine-point swing from beyond the three-point line. Despite this, the Wildcats never gave up, continuing to fight and close the gap as the game progressed.
Leading the offense for the Wildcats was Kirkendall with 6 points, while Cutsinger contributed 5, Rich added 4, and Crittenden chipped in with 2. Overall, it was a much better performance compared to their previous matchup with Anderson, with the Wildcats showing great effort and improved execution of their plays.
Congratulations to the winners of the Boys JT free throw shooting contest!! The winners will be competing in the Rogers County Elks Lodge Free Throw Shooting contest. In the event the winner is unable to make it, the runner up will compete.
