Justus-Tiawah is hosting a virtual Veterans Day Program. We would like to have students and families submit patriotic performances of song, dance, poetry, etc. Or tell about your favorite veteran. If you and/or your family would like to participate please follow the instructions below.
We will be using Flipgrid for our program. You can either download the flipgrid app onto your phone or tablet, or go to flipgrid.com on a computer with camera and microphone access.
Enter the flipgrid code admire3090.
You will be asked to login through google. Use your child’s school email information.
You can either follow the prompts to video your performance or upload a recorded video. You can edit your video and add a picture/selfie before submitting.
You will receive an email from Team Flipgrid once your video has been reviewed. This may take a few days. The email will be sent to your child’s school email address, so please check for it. If you do not get a response please reach out. We want to make sure we include everyone who wants to participate.
All submissions need to meet these guidelines.
Any JT student, family, or staff is welcome to participate.
All themes, attire, and content must be appropriate for a K-8 school audience.
All entries should not be more than approximately 3 minutes.
Entries should be submitted by Friday, October 30.
Parents please help your child record a quality video with adequate lighting, clear audio, and at a volume where they are easily heard.
Please send an email to jadmire@justustiawah.com if you have any trouble submitting a video. We will compile all submissions and provide a link via the Justus-Tiawah Facebook page and Google Classroom for everyone to view on November 11, 2020.
